So because I know you all are dying to know what I did over the weekend, I figured I would start recapping my adventures in excruciatingly unnecessary detail. I know, I know- try and contain your excitement people! This is good stuff. Or just stuff. Whatever. Soooo Friday night started with a couple cocktails with some coworkers to celebrate a birthday. I ended up staying until almost 7 even though I was only planning on an hour. Lets hear it for Jager Bombs..(sick) Yea. Apparently I think I’m 21. Ridiculous. Anyway, afterwards I met Simon at home, changed my top and shoes (tweed Karen Millen) and we headed off to Tei An, which is a new Japanese Soba noodle house in One Arts Plaza in the Dallas Arts District. What are soba noodles you ask? Well my friends, no need to go to wikipedia, they are basically just thin noodles- but made with buckwheat flour. The location of the restaurant, One Arts Plaza, is relatively new and I totally love the atmosphere. The design is great and there are several little restaurants and shops all around the horseshoe-shaped drive. Definitely conducive to lots of relaxing wine drinking (ok, honestly most places are conducive for that for me) Here are a couple pics and the outfit I wore:Tei An was interesting.
